Bardot is my absolute favourite trend at the minute. I just think that it can make an outfit look so elegant, even if a Bardot top is worn with plain skinny or even Mom jeans. This white off the shoulder top was an amazing recent purchase from the Zara sale – it looks like it could be designer, and it was only 19.99! For this blog post me and the boyfriend went to take pictures in the lovely Chelsea area, where all the houses are absolutely gorgeous, as you can tell from these.
I paired the top with pink cigarette pants for a smart look, but like I said it could be worn with jeans which would also make for a gorgeous look. My floral bomber jacket matched the pastel pink of the cigarette pants perfectly so I couldn’t resist wearing it! Even though for a gorgeous sunny day like this a jacket isnt strictly necessary, you could also pair it with a plain black leather jacket to uphold the colour blocking theme of the outfit.
I completed the look with these gorgeous black pumps which have a slingback detail and a slight midi heel, perfectly aligned with the 60s trend. But again you could also pair with plain white trainers for a more casual look – some chunky adidas sneakers would break up the smart vibe perfectly.
Also paired this look with my gorgeous new orange bag from River Island. If you read my recent bag edit you’d know that I highly recommend river island bags. They somehow manage to be of amazing quality and look like they are far more expensive than they actually are! This gorgeous orange one really pops against the pastel colours of the rest of the outfit, as well as fitting the mini trend bag trend really well (although was a bit of a struggle to fit my camera in!)
My boyfriend is credited with the amazing pictures above and in most of my other posts. Below I turned the camera on him for once to thank him for all his help!
