To go out in the evenings when I’m on holiday I usually go for quite a glam, girly look, and Croatia was no different. I usually just go for dinner and drinks as I don’t really like clubbing much – especially not when my boyfriend’s parents were on holiday with us. So I usually go for a girly, romantic vibe which is why I selected this gorgeous white midi skirt.
I paired it with this amazing anchor-print top for a bit of a nautical look, to match the theme of the seaside town of Dubrovnik, where we were staying. Sadly, both of these pieces – the top and the skirt – are realllly old, like I bought them quite a few years ago. The top is from Republic (remember that store, UK viewers? I don’t think it actually exists anymore; I think it was renamed USC), and the skirt is from Primark, but I’ll try and match them with similar items.
…So, unfortunately it’s not that easy to find an anchor print top anymore. Apparently they stopped being à la mode circa 2012, but I managed to find a short-sleeved anchor print one from John Lewis, which you could cut and make into a crop top, if you wanted. If not, you could easily just wear a striped crop top, preferably white and navy, to achieve the same nautical look.
