So as most of you are probably aware from my Instagram, a couple weeks ago and my parents booked a last-minute trip to Milan. So, I’ve finally got around to uploading my photos from the trip, as well as my list of the must-see sights.
Milan is somewhere I’ve always wanted to go, being renowned as one of the fashion capitals of the world. I have to say, though, I was a bit underwhelmed by the fashion choices I saw when I got there. I’d been hoping to get some great street style shots, but maybe I was unlucky with timing, and the fash pack had all left after Fashion Week in September, or maybe it was just full of tourists because one of the days we visited was a national holiday.
Anyhow, the city itself was absolutely beautiful, and I loved it, but besides the shopping, once you’d seen the main sights there wasn’t that much to do, but thankfully we were only there a few days anyway! Besides all of the things I’ve recommended, though, I’d also say that going to an outlet village is a must – most of them are quite far out of Milan, but definitely worth the day trip!
My must-sees include…
-
Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele II
A shopping center filled with all the most expensive designer shops, housed in the most gorgeous building!
2. Il Duomo di Milan
The city’s oldest cathedral!

3. Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie

4. Pinacoteca di Brera
Milan’s best collection of old, and contemporary art.
Other sights included…

Gorgeous architecture on the streets

Hope you liked this summary of Milan!
