Recently I finally had my first photoshoot with a professional photographer – Roz Alcazar, her Instagram is here. I was amazingly excited for my first professional shoot and while, yes, I was standing in the freezing cold in South Kensington for about 3 hours, it was all worth it for the finished result! I finally had the chance to shoot this shaggy fur jacket as well, for the first time since Milan, even though I’ve been wearing it practically all winter. I do prefer shaggy fur, as it’s a more classic look, although you can spot me wearing teddy fur here. This jacket is definitely a statement piece, and it instantly makes any outfit seem more glamorous – even with jeans. I love how the dappled black/white/nude print is so much more interesting than just a plain black or white fur coat, too, and it always means I can keep the rest of this outfit simple.
I also finally had the chance to shoot this gorgeous black jumpsuit. I love how versatile it is – it can be dressed up and down so easily. I’ve worn it to my work at Selfridges with heeled boots, I wear it in the daytime often with a jumper underneath, and you can even dress it down further by pairing it with some casual trainers rather than boots. It’s tightly fit but still comfortable, and I love the detailed stitching at the top.
I’ve paired the jumpsuit here with my favourite heeled boots for a bit of glamour. My favourite Zara mini bag went perfectly here too, which holds just enough for my day to day life when I’m not at uni – it holds enough for work, shopping, running errands etc.
The silver of my Tiffany key necklace (which I got given for Christmas, and haven’t taken off since…) contrasts perfectly against the black of the jumpsuit, IMO. And I know you’re not meant to mix silver and gold, but I couldnt resist adding my gorgeous rose-gold-plated Abbott Lyon watch.
