Teddy coat…

I recently rediscovered this coat in my wardrobe and I’m obsessed with it. I never usually wear teddy coats because I think shaggy fur looks so much more classic, but for this gorgeous coat I’ll make an exception. The burgundy colour is so autumnal too, and the long length keeps me warm on cold winter days (it was snowing today in London!) And keeping to the relatively classy tone of the outfit, I just had to add this cute hat I found lying around at home – bowler hats are all the rage now, especially with pom poms, and I can see why! They just look so cute and instantly make every outfit look more interesting.

The coat went perfectly in colour with my new striped midi dress from H&M as well. Having seen the dress on a few bloggers already, it took me months to eventually track it down, and I love it. It’s such a statement dress that you don’t even need to wear much else to accentuate it – it really stands out and speaks for itself. I used to avoid horizontal stripes but this dress is still amazingly flattering – it’s tightly fit, but not so tight that it’s uncomfortable – and the slit on the side makes it even more flattering.

As usual, I’ve added my classic Zara boots (can you tell I’m a little bit obsessed with them?). As the dress is so bold, these simple leather ankle boots are perfect.
